{becssg_c}0|lotta's fountain.jpg| |Shortly after the 1906 earthquake, San Francisco residents would gather at Lotta's Fountain on Market Street. Perhaps the residents of the new Ritz-Carlton will gather at the fountain after the next big one. Michael Helmantoler attended the April 18, 5:00 A.M. ceremony held at Lotta's Fountain and reported that the experience was quite impressive and inspiring.
