This is the place for San Mateo County businesses to connect with each other and public service agencies involved in disaster recovery.

The San Mateo County Business Recovery Planning Committee was organized to prepare business owners and managers for an extended interruption of business systems, communications and workplaces due to a disaster.

Over the weekend of November 11&12 2005 over 35 interested San Mateo county based recovery planners and business operators agreed to help make businesses more resilient to potential disasters.

Watch this space as it will grow to other locations that provide an interactive community and notification of face to face meetings.

Several members have meeting spaces and are willing to offer conference call hosting so that information may be exchanged on a regular basis.
